
The Darebin Creek Corridor offers plenty of opportunities for both locals and visitors to enjoy Melbourne's North. The best way to get along the creek is by the shared pathway that runs for most of the length of the Creek. This path network allows walkers, joggers and cyclists to experience the constructed and natural features of the Darebin Creek Valley. The shared pathway also provides links to major locations in the area including Northland Shopping Centre, La Trobe University and RMIT.

This well maintained park is located off Settlement Road in Bundoora and offers a large area for relaxing. BBQ facilities are located in the main section along with a new playground, skateboard half pipe, public toilets and plenty of parking. Norris Bank Reserve is also located close to Bundoora Shopping Centre.
This is one of Melbourne's largest metropolitan parks with numerous picnic and BBQ areas, playgrounds, walking tracks, a visitor's centre, café, public toilets, and a historic farm. Located on Plenty Road, the Park offers plenty of parking and is linked with Bundoora Golf Course.
- Olympic Park - West Heidelberg
This are is great of active recreation with a playground, two ovals and lots of space to kick a ball. The Shared Trail runs right past this area or you can access it from Liberty Parade. Northland Shopping Centre is adjacent to Olympic Park.
- Darebin Parklands - Alphington
This 50 hectare park has a informal bush setting and is perfect for relaxing or taking a walking track that may lead you to some sites of geological and historical significance. The park has BBQ and toilet facilities with a playground located nearby.
